
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama’s award-winning Greek organizations were recently honored with a reception on campus.
UA recipients included:
- Alpha Tau Omega — True Merit Award for being an outstanding chapter nationally
- Alpha Delta Pi — Diamond Four Point Achievement Award for overall chapter performance
- Alpha Gamma Delta — Jewel Society, Scholarship Improvement Award and Strive for Pi by all members maintaining an overall GPA of 3.14
- Chi Omega – Hospitality Award and Most Improved Chapter Academically
- Delta Chi — Outstanding Campus Leadership Award
- Delta Delta Delta — Outstanding Membership Recruitment Award
- Delta Kappa Epsilon — Lion Trophy, the highest award given for the most outstanding chapter in the U.S. and Canada
- Delta Zeta — Crest Award, given to the top 10 chapters in the U.S. and Canada, Excellence in Philanthropy and Recruitment Certificate Awards
- Delta Xi Phi — Highest Chapter GPA Award
- Lambda Chi Alpha — Academic Excellence Award
- Phi Delta Theta — Pheonix Award Citation for the most improved chapter in the country, Recruitment Citation for outstanding improvements in recruitment
- Phi Kappa Psi — Most Improved Grade Point, Highest Grade Point Average in District IV and Best Chapter/Alumni Newsletter
- Theta Chi — Alter Award for chapter excellence nationally
- Zeta Tau Alpha — National Crown Chapter Award, National Founders Club Award, Scholastic Achievement Award and Quota/Total Achievement Award
