Dr. Paul L. Drnevich’s research interests include:
- Examining how organizational capabilities contribute to value creation and appropriation, the effects of environmental uncertainty on their contribution and the role of information technology in enhancing these contributions, particularly to innovation and performance in entrepreneurial ventures, small businesses and mergers and acquisitions context.
- The application of this research to solve problems in management education, business practice and public policy.
He is a member of the Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society and serves on the Strategic Management division’s executive committee. He has written research for Strategic Management Journal, MIS Quarterly and Journal of Management Studies as well as Academy of Management Learning & Education, Decision Sciences and Journal of Small Business Management.
