Dr. Lucy Curzon, art and art history, received the Historians of British Artist Book Award for Exemplary Scholarship on the Period after 1800 for her book, “Mass-Observation and Visual Culture: Depicting Everyday Lives in Britain” (Routledge, 2017).

Alan L. Durham, Law School, has published “Patent Law Essentials: A Concise Guide, Fifth Edition” (Santa Barbara, CA: Praeger, 2018); and “Lost Art and the Public Domain,” 49 Arizona State Law Journal 1257-1300 (2017).
Dr. Marc Feldman, psychiatry, has authored “Dying to be Ill: True Stories of Medical Deception.” Published by Taylor & Frances/Rutledge and set to release in May, the book delves into the motivations to go to extremes in faking illness, or “disease forgery.”
Dr. Jennifer M. Feltman, art and art history, published “The Last Judgement Porch at Lincoln Cathedral Over the Longue Durée: Iconography, Interaction, and Religious Thought,” in “Devotional Interaction in Medieval Britain and its Afterlives.” Leiden: Brill, 2018, pp.103-126.
Chris Jordan, art and art history, received the Juror’s Award for his image, “Emptying,” in the exhibition “Myths, Legends and Dreams” at the Vermont Photoplace Gallery in Middlebury in March.
Matt Mitros, art and art history, was invited to show his art work in the exhibition, “A Southern Table,” at the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art, Demorest, Georgia. Also the work of Mitros and Wade MacDonald, art and art history, was accepted into the juried exhibition, “Small Favors XIII,” at the Clay Studio in Philadelphia.
Michael S. Pardo, Law School, has published “Some Remarks on the Importance of Evidence Outside of Trials,” 36 Review of Litigation 443-467 (2016).
Pete Schulte, art and art history, had artwork included in “Spring/Break Art Show: Frontiers,” part of the annual Armory Art Show in New York City in early March. Also, his graphite, gouache and ink drawing on paper titled, “A Letter Edged In Black,” (2017, 15 x 15 inches) was mentioned in the preview article in ArtNews.
