Let Your Voice Be Heard During Sexual Assault Awareness Month

“Take Back the Night: Organize. March. Unite.” will be at 7:30 p.m. April 10 on the Quad.

Come out and let your voice be heard during Sexual Assault Awareness Month with the Women and Gender Resource Center. It will be a month full events and activities to raise awareness and support survivors.

Monday, April 9: Find out about sexual assault in the transgender community at 7:30 p.m. in 133 Lloyd Hall. Hosted by URGE.

Tuesday, April 10: Take part in “Take Back the Night: Organize. March. Unite.” at 7:30 p.m. The Quad.

Wednesday, April 11: Participate in Campus Dialogues at 1 p.m. in the Ferg Student Center Great Hall. Hosted by Crossroads.

Sunday, April 15: Join then SAFE Center Philanthropy Banquet at 6:30 p.m. in the Bryant Conference Center. Hosted by Not On My Campus and the Student Government Association. For ticket information, contact: uanomc@gmail.com.

Monday, April 16: Participate in the #MeToo Series: Men as Allies and Survivors in 2007 North Lawn Hall at 7:30 p.m. Hosted by Student Leadership Council and Jason’s Men’s Honorary.

Wednesday, April 18: See the Bristlecone Project Film screening at noon in 3107 Ferguson Student Center, where lunch will be provided. Register with zoe.winston@ua.edu.

Thursday, April 26: Join the discussion titled “Unpacking Roxane Gay’s ‘Hunger'” at Every Woman Book Club, noon. The cost of lunch is $8. RSVP at cpmiller1@ua.edu.
