Fashion for Life Showcases Apparel Design Seniors

Twenty-three apparel design seniors presented their final collections at the annual Fashion for Life showcase on Nov. 16 at the Bama Theatre in downtown Tuscaloosa. The runway event serves as the culminating experience of the students’ capstone course, a project they begin preparing for before their senior year.

Drawing on the knowledge and skills gained throughout the program, students designed and produced cohesive collections that reflect industry-level expectations. The development process, along with the planning and execution of the show itself, mirrors the professional realities they will encounter as they enter the apparel industry after graduation.

All proceeds from ticket sales were donated to the United Way of West Alabama, with the amount raised matched by Estée Lauder Companies.
