Building Leaders through the Arts, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics), and Teamwork, or BLAST Academy, is a three-week summer learning and enrichment program developed and administered by the UA’s Division of Community Affairs and College of Education. The program’s objectives are to enhance student’s academic learning, physical well-being and to promote social, emotional, and life skill development. Secondary objectives include preparing students, as well as families, for the upcoming school year and decreasing the traditional learning loss experienced during summer slide.

UA Art Camp provides high school rising freshmen to rising seniors a week focusing on one of four art media areas of their choice, learning under the guidance of an experienced art faculty member. Students will spend five days in a studio environment immersed in either sculpture, printmaking, ceramics or graphic design.

Communication and Media Preview, or CAMP, is a six-day, five-night program for rising high school sophomores to seniors interested in sports communication and media. During CAMP, students will practice skills and improve knowledge related to the fields of communication and media, develop connections with aspiring communicators, and become familiar with the college experience.

UA will also offer writing, cybersecurity and sports camps, among others. Additional camps will be added as summer approaches.
