With the sponsorship of Blue Cross Blue Shield, UA Wellness and Work-Life secured two dispensers with SPF 30 waterproof sunscreen for employees in both grounds and building maintenance, who typically spend many work hours outside.
Sunscreen is one of the best ways to reduce the risk of skin cancer, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“Our teams understand the impacts of protection and sincerely appreciate having another tool in the kit, to protect them from the sun,” said Beau Barnett, director of landscape and grounds.
