The UA campus community is invited to attend video presentations by the four finalists for the position of dean of the School of Social Work Nov. 9-12.
Each candidate will engage with student, staff and faculty groups and make a Zoom presentation to the campus community from 9-10 a.m. CST each day from Monday, Nov. 9, through Thursday, Nov. 12, followed by a question and answer session moderated by Dr. David L. Albright, the search committee chairperson and professor and Hill Crest Foundation Endowed Chair in Mental Health Research.
The link for each presentation will be posted on the Social Work dean search website the morning of the presentation. The presentations also will be recorded and posted on the search website. Recorded presentations will be posted as they are available, and all information will remain on the site until Nov. 17.
Suggested questions to be posed to the candidates following their Zoom presentation can be submitted in advance via an anonymous form by 5 p.m. CST the day before their presentation. Other questions about the search can be sent to Albright at dlalbright@ua.edu.
Candidate information, including CV, presentation link and feedback submission forms, will be made available beginning Nov. 5 to the campus community on the search website. UA faculty, staff and students can access the information using their myBama login credentials.
Feedback forms should be completed before 5 p.m. CST on Nov. 17.
