The UA Undergraduate Research Conference is online this year.

Nearly 250 undergraduate students at The University of Alabama are highlighting their research and creative projects during the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Conference.

The 13th annual conference, hosted by UA’s Office for Undergraduate Research and the Office for Research and Economic Development, moved to an online format as the campus transitioned to remote instruction in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“We are excited so many students wanted to participate in the virtual conference,” said Dr. Kim Bissell, director of the Office for Undergraduate Research. “We have got some pretty phenomenal students who are truly doing great things.”

Students submitted research posters and a 3-minute presentation of their research for inclusion in this year’s conference. Student posters can be viewed at a UA Box account. Student projects are grouped by discipline in folders in the box account.
