Christmas wreaths from at least 15 UA fraternities and sororities were featured in the gallery’s inaugural opening. Fraternity and sorority members mingled with Capstone Village residents at the gallery opening. The gallery will feature a different artist’s work every month. The event gave students the opportunity to improve intergenerational relationships, said Troy Cannaday, executive director of Capstone Village. “We’re doing this for the enjoyment of our residents in celebrating the holidays,” said Cannaday. The gallery is located in the long hallway between the assisted living and the independent living facilities.
