UA Vice President Named to Student Affairs Council

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Dr. David L. Grady, vice president for student affairs at The University of Alabama, has been named to a two-year term on the Association of Public Land-Grant Universities Council on Student Affairs Executive Committee.

The CSA is comprised of senior student affairs or student life officers at university systems who provide forums for the discussion and dissemination of information on issues related to the college student experience.

The CSA advocates within the association and works cooperatively with other councils and commissions to enhance institutional effectiveness and the student experience in the areas of co-curricular opportunities; personal and professional growth; learning, progress and completion; mental and physical health and wellness; and such fundamental needs as housing, financial aid, transportation and dining.

During his two-year term on the Executive Committee, Grady will assist with the oversight of activities of the CSA, assist in the organization of activities held during the Association of Public Land-Grant Universities’ annual meeting and the CSA Summer Forum. He also will assist with outreach and engagement efforts for new CSA members.
