The 2015-16 Alice magazine staff was presented a 2016 Magazine Pacemaker Award from the Associated Collegiate Press on Oct. 22 at the National College Media Convention in Washington, D.C.
The Alice magazine team was honored for their first two issues of Alice. The award is considered to be the college equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize.
“We’re happy that Alice has been recognized like this,” said Paul Wright, UA’s director of student media. “We are proud of the group of more than 100 students who worked hard to put out the first two editions of the magazine and were recognized for their work.”
