Jed, a 24-year-old senior majoring in business marketing, is the first male cheerleader in his family and first student to attend UA – his dad went to Auburn. But, he’s not the last. Following in his footsteps, Jed’s brothers, Zachary and Elijah Vaughn, became UA cheerleaders as well.
The University of Alabama’s Hypatia chapter of Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society has received the Ruth Weimer Mount from the national association. The award is presented annually to Mortar Board’s most outstanding collegiate chapter.
