Student-Cadets at UA Receive Air Force Reserve Officer Corps Scholarships

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – A number of student-cadets at The University of Alabama recently were awarded scholarships from the Air Force Reserve Officer Corps.

The corps’s In-College Scholarship program is designed to help AFROTC meet its goal to provide quality leaders as active duty officers in the U.S. Air Force.

Recipients are selected from a field of nominees representing more than 145 detachments nationwide. Nominations are submitted to the scholarship board by detachment commanders based on qualities such as leadership, grade point average, fitness and high levels of participation in the AFROTC program.
