The UA Medical Amnesty Policy is designed to foster safety first. It serves the educational function of the University by encouraging accountability and intervention among campus community members, with a goal of reducing risk and harm. Amnesty may be granted in three circumstances: individual students who need medical attention; individual students who call on behalf of those needing treatment; and organizations. The purpose of the Medical Amnesty Policy is to increase the likelihood that community members will call for assistance when faced with an alcohol-related emergency. To read more about the policy, visit the Dean of Students website, and then click on the Medical Amnesty Policy link on the left side of the page.

The rooms are dedicated spaces designed to allow users a quiet place to practice presentations while recording them for future reviews. Each facility has a camera that captures both the upper body of the presenter and a display of his or her content on a screen. The presenter provides a USB storage device in the case of McLure Library or an SD card in the case of Rodgers Library for capturing the video file. The practice rooms may be used by anyone on campus and can be reserved at the information desks in both locations.
