The University of Alabama won the 2014 Beat Auburn Beat Hunger Food Drive by collecting 300,049 pounds of food to top Auburn University’s collection of 198,041 pounds of food.
Chemical Waste Management-Emelle has donated lab equipment valued at approximately $40,000 to The University of Alabama’s department of geological sciences.

University of Alabama students who have been awarded Presidential Scholarships and complete their undergraduate degrees early will now be able to use their remaining scholarship funds for graduate school.
