TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama’s College of Communication and Information Sciences has announced its C&IS Ambassadors for 2014-15.

The C&IS Ambassadors serve as official ambassadors of the College, welcoming new and returning students each semester, promoting interest in the field of communication and providing opportunities for members to meet with professional people in the field. Ambassadors also give tours to prospective students and have a presence at all major college events.

Dr. Carol Bishop Mills, the College’s associate dean for undergraduate studies and faculty adviser for the group, said she is thrilled to welcome the new ambassadors.

“Last year was a banner year for our group,” Mills said. “They had a strong presence in our College, and applications were up significantly this year, making this year’s group a highly selective one. The new Ambassadors will be able to build upon years of excellent traditions and exceed their own goals.”

The 2014-15 Ambassadors were chosen through a competitive application and interview process. They are listed below, with elected officers noted.
