On June 10, 2013, The University of Alabama and the UA College of Education co-hosted a daylong, interactive conference for selected high school students from Alabama. The conference focused on the role the students can play in their schools and communities now and in the years to come. Speakers included Dr. Kelvin Croom, a UA alumnus, retired educator and current pastor, and Stephen Black, Director of UA’s Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility.
