ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Student Government Association and the Campus Veterans Association ask UA students to donate their used textbooks as part of the “Textbooks for Troops” program. The program helps ease the burden put on student veterans, dependents and survivors every semester in getting their textbooks. Students can bring their used books to the SGA office (second floor, Ferguson Center) or the Office for Veteran and Military Affairs (1 B.B. Comer Hall) through May 1. STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
The priority period for organizations to renew their registrations through the SOURCE will continue through May 15. The SOURCE encourages organizations to renew during this period. There is no fee for organization renewal. More information: http://thesource.ua.edu or 348-6114.
EVENTS
The University of Alabama will hold its spring commencement ceremonies this weekend. Students in the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration and the College of Engineering will graduate Friday, May 3, at 6 p.m. in Coleman Coliseum. The graduation schedule for Saturday, May 4, in Coleman Coliseum, will be as follows: 9 a.m., Capstone College of Nursing, College of Communication and Information Sciences, College of Education and College of Human Environmental Sciences; 1:30 p.m., College of Arts and Sciences and School of Social Work; and 5 p.m., School of Law. The ceremonies will be available for viewing through live feed at http://www.ua.edu/commencement.

The University Supply Store at the Ferguson Center is currently holding a trade-book clearance sale through May 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The sale will include a $3 table, and all other books will be at least 50 percent off. Some Cliffs Notes and bookmarks will be on sale, four items for $1. The University Supply Store at the Ferguson Center will hold a one-day Apple sale Wednesday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Previous generation Apple products, such as iMac, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini and iPad, will be 50 percent off the original price.
