Students Selected for New UA Leadership Program

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – A select group of students has been chosen to participate in a new leadership development program at The University of Alabama.

The program, called Leadership UA, was created by the Office of the Dean of Students in conjunction with the vice president for student affairs. The students who were chosen for Leadership UA went through a rigorous application and interview process and only one-third of all applicants were selected.

Members of Leadership UA will also be attending various seminars that pertain to the skill set of a good leader.  By hearing experts on topics such as public speaking, social engagement and decision making, these students will be prepared to become future leaders on and off campus.
