UA MBA Program Ranks No. 32 among Public Institutions

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The MBA program at the Manderson Graduate School of Business at The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Commerce is ranked No. 63 overall and No. 32 among public institutions in the latest U.S. News Best Graduate Schools rankings.

“This is the third consecutive year our MBA program has made a positive move in the U.S. News rankings,” said Dr. Rob Morgan, associate dean for graduate programs at the business school.

“I think this is a testament to the quality of both our faculty and the students who choose us,” Morgan said. “Our average GPA is 3.5, our recruiter score is 3.2, our average GMAT is 640, and the average starting salary for our alumni is roughly $10,000 higher than other public institutions in the state.”

The GMAT – Graduate Management Admission Test – measures the skills students need to be successful in management graduate programs. Less than half the students who apply for the UA MBA program are accepted.
