The University of Alabama’s senior honor societies will sponsor a fundraiser to benefit Literacy is The Edge on Wednesday, Nov. 17.

The 23rd annual Alabama Quality Award conference and ceremony will be held Dec. 1-3 at the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach. The conference, typically held in Tuscaloosa, was moved by its organizers following the April 20 oil spill as a way to help the hard-hit Gulf Coast economy.
