T. Boone Pickens brought his crusade to end America’s dependence on foreign oil to the University of Alabama on Monday night with a simple message — it does not matter what technology and fuels are embraced as long as they tap America’s resources…A standing-room crowd of about 500 people attended Pickens town hall meeting at The Zone at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Monday’s presentation was his 39th town hall meeting since he proposed the Pickens Plan two years ago. It was his first visit to Tuscaloosa.
