
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama SOURCE, formerly known as the Coordinating Council of Student Organizations, has announced its new executive board of governors to help student organizations on campus.
The SOURCE board of governors will help run Get On Board Day, organize leadership conferences, sit on the Financial Affairs Committee and hold workshops to help student organizations run more efficiently.
Chosen from a strong group with leadership skills and dedication to the University, the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership welcomes these four students to the board of governors:
Director of Organizational Leadership — Fernanda Lima of Vestavia Hills, a freshman majoring in business and dance who serves as the Freshman Forum SGA Liaison and is a Capstone Mentor.
Director of Financial Resources — Marc Knight of Eufaula, a junior majoring in finance who is currently serving as the Blount Hall president for the Resident Hall Association.
Director of Communications — Jason Brandt of Coppell, Texas, a senior majoring in advertising with a minor in digital arts and media. Brandt works for the UA Libraries’ Sanford Media Center and he is a member of the UA AD team.
Director of Outreach — Meggan Graham of Troy, a junior majoring in marketing and the 2008-2009 office manager for CCSO. Graham has previously served as a Capstone Woman and participated in Freshman Forum.
