Figure-flattering cuts, thinner wallets, more ex-convicts on the streets and more time in therapy for the rest of us. That’s what 2009 holds, according to an annual survey of a select group of professors at the University of Alabama. The university’s annual sampling of predictions from experts in a variety of fields found a lot of pessimism about the coming year, and a few silver linings…
