Crimson White – Nov. 12
…The Honors College magazine, called Mosaic, will issue its first publication in April 2009 during honors week. “Considering the talented group of students who are working on this, I have extremely high expectations for the finished product,” said UA spokesman Chris Bryant. “It should be a showcase piece that projects the spirit of Honors College. We expect it to be inspiring, entertaining and informative for the readers.”…Three advisors are currently helping students work with the magazine. Laura Lineberry, who is an instructor in the department of art, oversees the design aspect of the magazine.
Chip Cooper, who is director of photography on campus, is in charge of photography, and Bryant is the head of writing for the magazine. “The bulk of the work lies in front of us,” Bryant said. “Finalizing the story budget, attracting additional Honors College students who are interested in writing for the magazine, as well as the heavy-duty design and photography is still down the road, along with the story interviews, writing, editing and then more editing, more editing and finally, more editing.”
