Gadsden Student Elected SGA President at UA

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Cason Kirby of Gadsden was elected president of the Student Government Association at The University of Alabama for the 2008-2009 term.

Some 5,240 total votes were cast in the student election that was held on campus March 4-5.

Kirby received 4,166 votes to defeat challenger Stephen Saucier of Columbus, Ga.
