…University of Alabama Director of Bands Ken Ozzello hopes to capture the emotion of the March 1 tornado that ripped through Enterprise, destroying Enterprise High School and Hillcrest Middle School and killing eight students and an elderly resident. The Alabama Wind Ensemble and the University of Alabama Singers will perform the newly commissioned composition “Enterprise” Friday at Hillcrest Baptist Church, directly across a parking lot from the former site of Enterprise High School…“The piece touches on a full range of emotions,” Ozzello said in a release. “There are sections of the piece that are very agitated, representing the destructive forces of the storm. But there are also very tranquil moments, reflecting the hope of rebuilding in the memory of those who were lost.”…The project was facilitated by the University’s Creative Campus Program, which is led by Scott Bridges and Hank Lazer.
