UA Men Against Violence to Show Film ‘Wrestling with Manhood’

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — University of Alabama Men Against Violence are sponsoring a showing of the film “Wrestling with Manhood” on Tuesday, April 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Forum. Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.

“Wrestling with Manhood” is the first educational program to pay attention to the enormous popularity of professional wrestling among male youth. The film is designed to engage the wrestling fan as well as the cultural analyst, in order to create a spirited debate about the influence this form of entertainment has on our culture. A discussion of the film will follow.
