UA Career Center to Sponsor 2004 Spring UA-RED

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Career Center will hold the 2004 Spring UA-RED (Recruitment of Educators Day) on Wednesday, April 14, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Ballroom.

This event is free and open to anyone interested in a career in education.

Participants should arrive between 9-10 a.m. to sign up for interview times. Interviews will begin at 10 a.m.

School systems from across the Southeast will be on campus to interview current teachers, all majors interested in teaching, education majors and UA alumni for teaching positions in their areas. Event organizers are expecting more than 75 schools to participate in this year’s recruitment event.

Business attire is recommended and attendees are encouraged to bring several copies of their resumes. A portfolio is optional. To view a list of the 2004 Spring UA-RED participants, visit www.career.ua.edu.
