UA College of Human Environmental Sciences Hosts Second Annual ‘Tee-Time’ Event

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama’s College of Human Environmental Sciences’ Clothing and Textile Department will host its second annual Tee-Time Fashion Design Extravaganza on March 16 at 7 p.m. at The Tuscaloosa Galleria.

Fashion and design students will exhibit their creative one-of-a-kind t-shirt designs. The students have transformed plain white t-shirts into creative and imaginative works of art.

Debbie Bond and Radiator Rick of Tuscaloosa will provide musical entertainment at the event. Also, the Hospitality and Restaurant Student Association will provide refreshments including dessert and coffee.

The admission will be $3, and the event is open to the public.

UA’s College of Human Environmental Sciences, established in 1917, offers degrees in apparel and textile, athletic training, consumer sciences, early childhood development, financial planning and counseling, food and nutrition, family and consumer science education, health studies, human development and family studies and interior design.
