The University of Alabama will honor Tuscaloosans James Maxwell Brown, his sister, Marine L. Brown, and first cousin, Anna Brown, for their lifetimes of service to the University and Tuscaloosa community by dedicating a tree in their honor Thursday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. on the UA Quad.

Champ Lyons Jr., associate justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, was recently inducted into the Order of Samaritan, the highest service honor of the Public Interest Institute at The University of Alabama School of Law.
