‘Seinfeld’ Director Returns to UA, will Discuss Challenges of Television Comedy

Award-winning television director Tom Cherones will screen an episode of “Seinfeld” and discuss the art and craft of television comedy, as well as the future of the medium, on Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. in 216 Reese Phifer Hall on The University of Alabama campus.

UA Students Organize All Night Walk for Cancer Cure

University of Alabama Students United for a Cure will sponsor Relay for Life, an all night walk to promote cancer awareness and cancer research, from 6 p.m. on Friday, March 21, until 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 22. The event will be held on the UA Quad and will benefit the American Cancer Society.

UA Alumni Weekend to be Held During A-Day Activities

The University of Alabama National Alumni Association has planned an Alumni Weekend for the Class of 1953 and the Golden Fifties Club (alumni who graduated prior to 1953). The festivities will take place during the annual A-Day Weekend, March 28-29.
