Pianist and university administrator Tanya L. Gille has been appointed director of the School of Music at The University of Alabama.
UA’s Moody Gallery Hosts International Exhibit

She has more than 20 years’ experience as a hospital nurse, worked for a hospice agency, concentrated in psychiatric mental health nursing while earning her master’s degree and she holds a doctorate in social work.

The mechanical engineering department at The University of Alabama College of Engineering recently received a Clarke Scholarship fund from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. UA was one of six chosen nationally for this scholarship award.
