UA Graduate Student Forum to be Held Oct. 23

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Graduate Student Association and the African-American Graduate Student Association will present the 2003 Graduate Forum on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 5 p.m. in the Grand Gallery of Smith Hall.

The event will spotlight graduate student issues at UA with an open question-and-answer session with University representatives, including UA President Robert E. Witt, Graduate School Dean Ronald Rogers, Provost Judy Bonner, and Charlotte Harris, associate vice president for human resources.

Health care benefits, teaching course loads, pay rates, and ways to attract quality graduate students are some of the issues to be discussed.
