UA Aging Center Offers Lecture on Grandparents Raising Children Nov. 3

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Drs. Nancy Kropf and Stacy Kolomer, both of the University of Georgia, will speak about grandparents raising grandchildren Monday, Nov. 3 at noon, in 104 Little Hall on The University of Alabama campus.

Their lecture, “Grandparents Raising Grandchildren: Physical, Mental Health, and Social Consequences,” is the third lecture in the UA Center for Mental Health and Aging’s 2003-04 Scientific Seminar Series.

Kropf is a professor of social work and doctoral program director, and Kolomer is an assistant professor of social work at the University of Georgia.

The event is free and open to the public.
