UA Engineering Researcher Investigating Air Quality Around Birmingham Roadways

Even though emissions of particulate matter (PM) have decreased significantly since the passage of the Clean Air Act in 1970, there are still millions of people living and working in areas with PM concentrations well above the national standard.
