The University of Alabama National Alumni Association (NAA) recently chose the recipients of the 2003 Distinguished Alumni Awards and Alumni Student Awards. The recipients will be recognized at the annual Alumni Weekend Luncheon on Saturday, March 29, at noon in the Bryant Conference Center.

University of Alabama students will have an opportunity to meet new UA President Robert Witt during his first week on the job Thursday, March 6, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Ferguson Center food court. Students will be able to ask questions, share thoughts, make suggestions or just introduce themselves to the president during this casual hour of discussion.

University of Alabama President Robert Witt will be available to meet with media on Tuesday, March 4, at 11 a.m. in the President’s office, 203 Rose Administration Building. Witt became UA president on March 1.
Hunt was Morgan’s advisor and mentor while Morgan was at TTU earning his doctorate, and together the two developed an article from Morgan’s dissertation. Morgan is pleased with the feedback his article has received, but is quick to point out that authoring the article wasn’t a solo project.
