TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Career Center will bring together students, alumni and employers for the 2003 Career EXPO to be held Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Bryant Conference Center on campus.
Participating companies and nonprofit organizations offering full-time, part-time and summer employment will be given the opportunity to market their organizations to UA students.
Students who wish to learn more about specific organizations or a possible career track can take advantage of the opportunity by networking with company representatives. Students and alumni are encouraged to dress professionally and bring resumes as they prepare to meet future employers for the first time.
Organizations from across the Southeast and the nation have been asked to participate. A list of participating organizations can be viewed at www.career.ua.edu.
Input from faculty members on new ways to recruit students is welcome at Career EXPO. UA faculty members are encouraged to attend to give recruiters information on how academic programs work at the University.
