Sixty teams of University of Alabama College of Engineering freshmen will participate in the BAMABOT Challenge in the Auxiliary Gym of Coleman Coliseum on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5-6:30 p.m.
In America, the population age 65 and older is expected to double by 2030. At that rate, this group is projected to comprise 20 percent of the population while utilizing 50 percent of the nation’s health care resources.
Tom Bennett, Atlanta Journal-Constitution editor and a national freedom of information leader, will give a lecture at The University of Alabama on Monday, Dec. 9, at 6:30 p.m. in 216 Phifer Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
