Media Advisory — UA to Announce Major Funding Thursday, Nov. 7

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – University of Alabama officials will announce major funding to the University at a ceremony set for Thursday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. in room 101 of the Tom Bevill Energy, Mineral and Materials Science Research Building.

Dr. Nancy Barrett, provost and vice president for academic affairs, will introduce the announcement followed by Dr. Bill Butler, director of the Center for Materials for Information Technology (MINT) and the Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC).
