Media Advisory — UA Interim President Takes Office July 1; Media Availability Set for 11 a.m. Monday

Dr. J. Barry Mason, interim president of The University of Alabama, will be available to meet with media on Monday, July 1, his first official day in office. The media availability will be at 11 a.m. in the President’s Boardroom, 203 Rose Administration building, on the UA campus.

Tuscaloosa Area Dean’s List Students Named at UA

A total of 2,950 students enrolled during the spring 2002 term at The University of Alabama made the Dean’s List with academic records of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or above, or the President’s List with academic records of 4.0, announced Dr. Nancy Barrett, UA provost and vice president for academic affairs.
