TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ‚ The University of Alabama’s new, official class ring will be unveiled at a ceremony set for 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 24, in Ferguson Center on the UA campus.
The new ring is the first complete redesign of UA’s official ring in at least 11 years. The design was selected by a committee of students, alumni and staff. The ring will be available in five different weights, but the design will be the same for all rings.
“The committee’s intent is that UA will have this same ring in perpetuity,” said Robert Palmer, director of the University Supply Store and an ex officio member of the committee.
