Fashion Design Students’ Creativity Shines in Tee Time Fashion Show

The department of clothing, textiles and interior design hosted its annual Tee Time Fashion Show April 16 on the lawn of Doster Hall.

With an emphasis placed on sustainability, students designed and created garments using repurposed thrifted clothing or unconventional materials. The project challenges students to push the boundaries of conventional apparel design.

This year’s theme, “Beyond Garments: Stories in Sustainability,” invited students to merge this concept with their personal experiences. Students created designs that tell their individual stories while underscoring the importance of sustainability. The runway show is produced annually by the department in collaboration with the Student Fashion Association.
