The University of Alabama will be strongly represented as 17 students compete in a field of 45 for the title of Miss Alabama. The program takes place June 3-6 at Samford University in Birmingham.
The winner will represent Alabama at the Miss America pageant later this year.
Contestants are evaluated in the categories of interview, talent, evening gown, health and fitness and on-stage question. They also each have their own community service initiative, a cause they championed while reigning in their respective titles.
The 17 contestants are current UA students or May 2026 graduates who earned their preliminary title while they were a UA student.
Many of the students listed have participated or placed in the Miss University of Alabama competition during their time at UA. Hailey Adams is the reigning Miss University of Alabama and Ruby Tilghman was Miss University of Alabama 2025.
