Beginning in April, the Harry Pritchett Running Park will close to the public. A University of Alabama cross country competition course, the park will be limited to training for student-athletes and competitive events.
The University of Alabama Arboretum will remain accessible and open to visitors as a botanical institution and nature preserve.
Fencing and gates will be erected later this month along Arboretum Way to enclose and restrict access to the parking lot at Harry Pritchett Running Park while still allowing vehicles to continue to the Arboretum.
