Attending a Home Game? Review Ticket Info

If you are a University of Alabama student and have never been to a football game (or have been, but just need a refresher) here’s some important information regarding student football tickets.

All student football tickets are loaded on to the ACT Card, so ACT Cards are required for game day entrance. Mobile ACT Cards provide faster transactions and entry into the game. Be sure that your mobile device is charged prior to arriving at Bryant-Denny stadium.

Make sure to check your ticket balance and upper or lower bowl designation through MyTickets on your myBama by the Wednesday of the home game for which you have a ticket. If you have a ticket to the game, you should see a balance of 1 for your upper or lower bowl assignment.

This year’s game day will be still be great, with a few changes such as face masks and social distancing.

A new feature on MyTickets is the Swap function. Students can now directly swap their ticket with another ticket in another bowl designation. For example, if Student A has an upper bowl ticket, and Student B has a lower bowl, one of them can simply log in to MyTickets, select swap and input the myBama username of the student they wish to trade. This will result in a pending swap, and the other student must accept the pending swap request before the swap is confirmed.

Other features of MyTickets include Transfer, Donate and Waitlist. A student can transfer their ticket to another student by logging in to MyTickets, selecting transfer and inputting the myBama username of the person they wish to transfer. The person receiving the transfer must accept the transfer to be confirmed.

If you are not planning to attend the game, you can donate so that another student may use the ticket. Donate your ticket by logging in to MyTickets, selecting donate and confirming your donation. Once the donation is confirmed it cannot be reversed.

To put yourself on the Waitlist, log in to MyTickets and choose to add yourself to the Waitlist.

Place your name as early as possible in the week as it is a first-come, first-serve basis. It is not guaranteed that you will receive a ticket, regardless of how early you put yourself on the Waitlist. If you do receive a ticket from the Waitlist you will receive an email to your Crimson Mail account. This email also will state if your ticket is upper or lower bowl. MyTickets is open starting at 1 p.m. the Sunday prior to that week’s home game and closes at halftime of the game.
