UA Alumni Association Seeking Award Nominations

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama National Alumni Association (NAA) is seeking nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award, Alumni Student Award, and Alumni Outstanding Senior Awards to be presented in 2001.

The Distinguished Alumni Award will recognize and honor a UA alumnus and alumna for their contributions to the University and the NAA. The award is based on loyalty and service to UA and NAA, character and personal life, professional achievement in chosen endeavors, and community service on local, state or national levels.

The Alumni Student Award will recognize a UA male and female of the senior class who have made outstanding achievements as students of the University. Criteria is based on personality, achievement and character

The Alumni Outstanding Senior Awards will recognize a group of deserving seniors based on the criteria of the Alumni Student Award. The awards program was developed to recognize the many outstanding University seniors.

All awards will be presented at the annual Alumni Luncheon to be held during Alumni Weekend. The deadline for all nominations is Jan. 1, 2001.
