TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — University of Alabama faculty and staff will get a close-up look at competitive volleyball when the Crimson Tide volleyball team hosts its first-ever Fantasy Clinic on Saturday, Aug. 26, in Coleman Coliseum at 9 a.m.
The camp will be held in the Coliseum’s volleyball practice facility in the building’s new addition and is open to all UA faculty members, staff and their families.
The day will begin with a skills clinic, introducing participants to volleyball with a hands-on, interactive approach. Instruction and coaching will be provided by team members, volleyball head coach Judy Green and assistant coach Michelle Durban. Watching will be allowed.
A reception is scheduled for 10:30-11 a.m., and it is open to the public. Fans will be able to meet the 2000 Crimson Tide volleyball team and the coaching staff at this time.
The skills clinic and the reception will be followed by the Crimson and White scrimmage at 11 a.m. This intra-squad scrimmage will be held in the volleyball practice facility in the back of the Coliseum.
All activities are free of charge. Prizes and lunch will be included for all participants.
